Opera BOMBANA is the new restaurant concept created by Chef Umberto Bombana, first to be opened in Beijing in 2013.
Having twenty years of culinary experience in Asia, Chef Bombana’s first restaurant 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA Hong Kong was awarded 2 Michelin stars. The restaurant has been upgraded to 3 Michelin stars in 2012 Michelin guide Hong Kong & Macau, becoming the first Italian restaurant out of Italy achieving the honor.
Chef Bombana made his first appearance in Mainland China in February last year, opening 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA Shanghai on the Rockbund, which became one of the most popular new restaurant in Shanghai. By sharing the same vision of the successful 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA Hong Kong and Shanghai, Opera BOMBANA aims to please Beijing patrons through a very defined although unique interpretation of great Italian food.
Opera BOMBANA is the place where gourmet palates can find the essence of classic fine Italian dining. Most of the signature dishes of Chef Bombana are re-created with the best ingredients available on the market and delivered thanks to the perfect interpretation and personal creativity of Chef Marino D’Antonio.
Crafted along with Master Baker Giuliano Pediconi’s expertise and consultancy, the bread is created with the finest Italian flour, through a natural fermentation process and freshly baked in ovens by professional artisans.
In the heart of the stunning Parkview Green FangCaoDi shopping mall, Opera BOMBANA also represents the perfect spot to enjoy afternoon breaks and informal meetings with a wide array of freshly baked delicacies and hand-crafted desserts to be consumed on site or taken away.
All this will be happening in a warm and comfortable atmosphere, with an extensive selection of International wines, mainly Italian, from impressive glass tower, equipped with proper humidity and temperature control technology.
